Gina Bloom

Gina Bloom is a dedicated lobbyist and Certified Crime Victim Advocate with extensive training and experience in advocating for victims' rights and legislative change. Enrolled to complete a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from Bellevue University, Advanced Paralegal Studies from Edmonds Community College, and has studied International Law at West University of Timisoara. Additionally, she has an Early Childhood Education Certificate from Bellevue Community College. Her professional training includes a 40-hour certification as a Crime Victim Advocate from the Department of Justice, basic mediation training, and specialized courses in domestic violence and child welfare from the University of Washington, and children's rights from Harvard University. Gina has completed numerous other certifications, including the Love & Logic Parenting Advocate Training, psychological first aid, and training in child physical abuse assessment. Gina has practical experience as a legal advocate, mediation specialist, and child welfare specialist. She has worked on cases involving domestic violence and child welfare, providing crucial support and guidance to victims. Her expertise in policy advocacy, legal knowledge, crisis intervention, and public speaking positions her as an influential figure in promoting legislative reforms to protect vulnerable populations. Professionally trained by the Washington Coalition for Sexual Assault Programs and the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence, Gina is a powerful advocate committed to creating safer communities and effectively navigating the legal and legislative landscapes to advance victims' rights.
