Steve Duncan (Duncan and Associates) specializes in government relations and public relations. The firm provides pro-active government relations services to a broad and diverse base of clients. We assist our clients in developing strategies and action plans tailored to their specific needs. We work to educate elected officials and other governmental decision makers in a comprehensive and timely manner. Recognizing that politics shape policy, we draw on over 40 years professional political experience at the federal, state, and local levels. We have consistently demonstrated our ability to bring successful outcomes to our clients regardless of which political party is in power. The firm was founded by Steve Duncan in 1986. Steve's credentials include serving on the White House Staff during the Carter Administration, and as an aide to former Congressman Norm Mineta. He brings extensive political campaign experience in the areas of management, communications, and grassroots development. As a political consultant, Steve has served as a state director in presidential campaigns, as campaign manager in congressional campaigns, and on the local level, director of successful municipal campaigns to fund art museums, zoos and low-income housing. This extensive political campaign experience provides the firm with unique insight to the political basis for which policy decisions are made.
