Rose Gundersen is the Vice President of Operations and Retail Services with the Washington Retail Association. She oversees a high performing team that provides a variety of services for retailers and works closely with the association’s government affairs team on policies that impact retailers. She is part of the policy team at Washington Retail.
Her education includes a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington and an Executive Juris Doctor degree from Concord Law School. She has been recognized by policymakers and civic organizations for her advocacy work to combat human trafficking and in during her work at Labor & Industries for supporting small businesses.
Her intimate knowledge of government regulations and challenges small business face make her an invaluable resource for entrepreneurs looking to grow.
Rose is also experienced in strategic planning and implementation and has enjoyed successes as an entrepreneur in both the private and non-profit sectors as well as in policy research and advocacy.
Outside of work, Rose is a board director of Washington Trafficking Prevention, a nonprofit she co-founded to combat human trafficking. You will also find her mountain biking with her husband wherever possible.
