George Slover is a senior policy counsel where he helps develop and coordinate the organization's regulatory comments related to its advocacy across a wide range of policy issues, including safety, telecommunications, energy, and finance. He also oversees antitrust and competition policy issues. He has three decades of federal government policy experience, with service in all three branches, including nine years at the House Judiciary Committee, two years at the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and 11 years at the Justice Department's Antitrust Division. He serves on the advisory board of the American Antitrust Institute, and on the steering committee of the DC Bar's Antitrust and Consumer Law Section, and is an elected member of the American Law Institute. He holds a J.D. from the University of Texas Law School and a master of public affairs from the LBJ School.
