Meagan Holt

I am an active member of my community serving as Vice-Chair on the Washington Talking Book and Braille Library patron advisory council, the director of patients for Project PC, and a Seattle Children’s family advisor. Initiative 5052 caused a great deal of hardship and strain on my daughter’s access and use of her cannabis medicine. I quickly realized that in order to allow Maddie every opportunity possible to experience the beauty of our great state and to enjoy activities like other children her age, including attending school, I was empowered to become a grass roots lobbyist and to begin making positive change through changing the laws in a productive way.
