Jordan Posamentier

Jordan Posamentier is the Senior Manager of Policy & Advocacy for Committee for Children, the world's largest provider of research-based educational programs that advance social-emotional skills and prevent bullying and sexual abuse. Prior to joining Committee for Children, Jordan served as Deputy Policy Director at the University of Washington's Center on Reinventing Public Education, as Director of Legislative Analysis at StudentsFirst, as Legislative Counsel to the California Judges Association, and as a New York City public school teacher. Jordan is currently licensed to practice law in California, still holds a part-time guest lectureship position at the UW's College of Education, and is an incoming board member for the Puget Sound Educational Service District. Jordan earned his law degree from the University of Houston, his masters in education from Queens College (CCNY), and his bachelors in human ecology from College of the Atlantic. He lives in Shoreline with his wife and daughter. They are awesome.
