Currently, David is the Director of Public Advocacy and Engagement for The Nature Conservancy. From 2019-2020, he served as the Co-Chair of the WA State Environmental Justice Taskforce. For two years, he worked as the Director of Legislative and Government Affairs for Front and Centered, a WA statewide coalition of organizations rooted in communities of color and people with lower incomes focused on environmental justice. His prior experience includes working for non-profits, state and local governments on issues as varied as labor standards, cannabis and public safety.
