Alexandre Chateaubriand

Xandre Chateaubriand serves as the Washington State Director at SiX. Before joining SiX, Xandre served as a policy advisor to Governor Jay Inslee and later as the policy director for his re-election campaign. Xandre has worked on a wide variety of public policy issues ranging from economic and workforce development to transportation and land use. As the Legislative Director for the Washington State Department of Commerce, Xandre worked with legislators to secure funding for the state’s economic development programs to support Washington’s small businesses and farmers. Xandre has his Bachelors of Arts in political science and evolutionary biology from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. He currently lives with his wife in the central area of Seattle.
