Eli Goss

Eli joined OneAmerica in 2018 and runs the policy and advocacy strategy across immigration, education, early learning, economic justice and voting reform at both federal and state levels for the organization. Their passion is making advocacy and government lobbying accessible and transformative for activists to make the policy change needed for communities to thrive. Originally from Texas, they moved to WA over 10 years ago and have been doing community organizing, lobbying and electoral work around progressive issues since then. Eli is proud of helping organize for over $340 million in COVID relief with undocumented workers along with funding for dual language classrooms, naturalization programs, and refugee assistance. Eli believes that building strong social movements is critical to passing bold policies that make a meaningful and tangible differences in peoples’ lives. In their free time, Eli loves to eat BBQ, be part of their queer chosen family, and dabble in various creative pursuits.
