Megan Mekelburg is a graduate of the University of California, Davis and is a current graduate student at California State University of Sacramento where she expects to complete her Masters in Public Policy and Administration in Spring 2024. Following four years of legislative work in the California State Senate, Megan began as a Senior Associate at Environmental & Energy Consulting in 2023 where she works with clients to advance policy in the legislative and regulatory arenas in California, Oregon, and Washington. While in the Senate, she served a variety of roles including Legislative Director and worked on natural resource, environmental quality, energy, and transportation issues.
