Katrina Johnson

working alongside folks at the margins in community whether it be from the war on drugs, police violence, mass incarceration, human trafficking, behavioral health needs, food insecurity, or homelessness; you realize without housing or access to food which are basic human rights and go a long way in stabilizing people that it is all interconnected and the root cause is poverty, racism, and inequity. I look forward to advocating for food insecurity and its root causes for a more vibrant and sustainable future for all communities in Washington state and beyond. Emphasis on needs of black and brown people who are underrepresented and often times unheard at the state legislature.
