Eric ffitch is the Executive Director of Washington Public Ports Association. Eric has more than 13 years of experience in federal and state government relations, including seven years spent in Washington, D.C., working as congressional staff to then-Rep. Jay Inslee, Rep. Suzanne Bonamici from Oregon, and Sen. Maria Cantwell. He was Sen. Cantwell’s lead on passage of a freight transportation package in the 2015 federal highway bill, and through that experience he gained familiarity with Washington ports. Since 2016, he has led state government relations for the Port of Seattle. Eric holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish Literature from Colby College in Maine.
