Bio:
Joelle has spent her entire career as a nurse and adult acute care nurse practitioner working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to optimize nursing practice, nurses as partners in multidisciplinary care teams, and the delivery of patient centered care. She is dedicated to maximizing team effectiveness to promote effective, quality patient outcomes and efficient, evidence based clinical care. She is the Director of Nursing Practice and Health Policy for the Washington State Nurses Association. Joelle currently serves on the steering committee for the American Cancer Society National Lung Cancer Roundtable as well as the Washington State Telehealth Legislative Collaborative. She is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington where she teaches in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program.
