Terri has served as the president and CEO of Independent Colleges of Washington since July 2018. A dedicated advocate for student aid and the value of independent (private, not-for-profit) higher education, Terri works on behalf of 10 liberal-arts-based colleges and universities across Washington and the nearly 40,000 students they serve. When considered together, ICW member campuses are a top-20 private sector employer for the state. She holds a PhD from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, master’s degrees from the University at Albany and from The Sage Colleges, and a bachelor’s degree from Rochester Institute of Technology.
