Patrick Winston Dunn

Pat received a B.A. from Williams College, J.D. from Hofstra Law School and a Masters of Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner School of New York University.

Pat worked as Administrative Assistant and Administrative Counsel for King County Executive John Spellman. After Spellman was elected Governor, Pat was assistant director of the Planning and Community Affairs Agency, Special Assistant to the Governor, and Director of the then new Department of Community Development. After his state service, Pat joined the Seattle law firm of Riddell, Williams, Bullitt & Walkinshaw and later Heller, Ehrman, White & McAuliffe. Pat and Susan Dunn established Patrick Dunn & Associates, Ltd. In April of 1996. The firm represents clients before the Washington State Legislature and state and local agencies.

Pat and Susan’s older daughter, Sara Kirschenman, is an attorney with the Washington State Department of Health. Their son-in-law, Eric Kirschenman, is an investigator with the Washington State Attorney General’s Office. Their younger daughter, Katherine Varnell Dunn, a 2012 graduate of Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts, is a department manager at Nordstrom.
