Was also employed an adjunct professor for St. Martin's University for multiple years. Was elected as the Washington School Counselor Association (WSCA) President in 2006-2007 and in 2019-2020. Appointed as the WSCA Advocacy and Government Relations Chair from 2021-2024. Currently, representing the Washington School Counselors Association as their Legislative Advocate.
