Joanna Grist has over 20 years of experience with the Washington State legislature. She began lobbying full-time in 2015. Previously she lobbied in her role as Director of the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition, the leading advocate for state funding for state and local parks, trails and wildlife habitat. In that role Grist led a board of sixty business, conservation, labor and community advocates in securing over half a billion dollars for Washington's great outdoors. Prior to that she worked as a policy analyst for King County Executive Ron Sims and as Field Director for Futurewise.
