Noah Long is a senior attorney working with NRDC's Energy Program. In Noah's first project with NRDC he helped initiative NRDC's successful campaign to protect Chilean Patagonia from large hydro development. Later, he joined the Energy program with a focus on regulation of electric and gas utilities. He has worked on policies to deploy renewable energy and energy efficiency, invest in clean energy research and development, and clean up dirty power plants. Noah also worked with NRDC's land and wildlife program to minimize environmental conflicts from siting renewable energy projects. He currently manages NRDC's western clean energy work and coordinates a national network of advocates supporting strong and effective carbon standards for power plants.
