Laurie Valeriano has worked to pass strong environmental and public health policies at the state level for more than 20 years. During those years Laurie has worked on precedent setting laws to ban toxic flame retardants, per and polyfluoralkyl substances (PFAS) and other harmful chemicals in consumer products. She has worked on comprehensive laws requiring disclosure of toxic chemicals in products and establishing new regulatory systems. Laurie received her B.A in Political Science from the State University at Albany in 1991.
