BILLY R WALLACE JR

Billy is the newest addition to the District Council team for the Washington and Northern Idaho District Council of Laborers. As Political and Legislative Director, Billy will be responsible for representing the Laborers' interests to Washington State elected and appointed officials. Billy has been working for Washington Fair Contracting Foundation (WAFCF) for the last five years. Prior to his role as investigator for WAFCF Billy worked as a Laborer for 9 years; primarily with Clearchannel Communications Outdoor Division. During his time with Clearchannel, Billy was a shop steward and employee representative when negotiating union contracts. Billy has a passion for politics, enjoys a healthy debate and will represent the Laborers in legislative and other activities to promote, protect and advance the physical, economic and social welfare of its members. Born and raised near Athens, Georgia, Billy attended Athens Technical College after high school. He relocated to Washington State in 1987 where he has remained due to his love of the great Pacific Northwest. As part of an elite softball team and Washington State Hall of Fame member, Billy continues his passion for softball into his later years still proving he can play as he boasts a World Champion team status from 2012. In his free time Billy also enjoys fishing, boating, and spending time with his family. Billy lives in Lake Stevens with his wife Kris, son Trey and daughter Kendra.
