Kelly Fukai

Kelly Fukai, is the Western Region Government Affairs Manager at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories where she oversees SELʹs state and municipal government relations and outreach efforts. Fukai joined SEL in 2015 after an extensive career in the energy industry serving in variety of roles including accounting, finance, regulatory, and resource planning. Most recently, Fukai served as the Manager of Natural Gas Planning for Avista Corporation, overseeing the company’s long term natural gas resource and procurement planning process and regulatory strategy. She received her BA in Accounting and MBA from Gonzaga University. Fukai serves on number business associations and boards including the board chair for the Greater Spokane Valley Chamber of Commerce, and board chair for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. She also serves on the WSU Spokane Advisory Board, College Success Foundation Advisory Board, and Multicare Foundation Board.
