Nia Ray, JD, is Cigna’s State Government Affairs Director focusing on Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Idaho. Nia has decades of governmental leadership experience across policy areas including labor/workforce, economic development and tax. Prior to joining Cigna, Nia was the Director of the Oregon Department of Revenue where she was responsible for the administration of more than 40 tax programs that generated 97% of Oregon’s general revenue fund. Nia also has extensive roots in the Midwest where she was the Missouri Department of Revenue Director and worked within two gubernatorial administrations. Nia is based in Salem, Oregon.
