Michael is a public affairs consultant and lobbyist with more than 20 years of experience effectively helping clients implement their legislative policy and budget priorities. Michael has worked with regulatory agencies, policy boards, and elected officials at all levels of government to achieve bottom-line results for public and private sector organizations. Prior to consulting and lobbying, Michael managed the district and state legislative offices for the Chair of the Environment and Energy Committee in the House of Representatives and served as the Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations for two state agencies focused on natural resources and economic development. Michael has experience working at all levels of local government as a Mayor, City Councilmember, and City Administrator. He was selected to serve as an Honorary Commander at Joint Base Lewis McChord and is a Board member for several organizations focused on economic development, land use, transportation, and military defense. Michael earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Pacific Lutheran University and a master's in Public Administration from the University of Washington.
