Jayme Shoun

Jayme Shoun serves as the Director of Policy and Government Affairs for Washington STEM, collaborating with both internal and external colleagues to identify, support, and successfully advocate for systems-level change in policies and practices that aim to close pervasive equity gaps. Jayme’s previous work includes serving as a senior constituent liaison for Congressman Jim McDermott, working in state-level campaign fundraising, and as a student lobbyist at WSU-Vancouver. She brings experience working on education issues at the local, state, and federal levels and a passion for advocating for educational opportunities for every student in Washington State. Jayme holds a BA in Public Affairs from Washington State University and an Executive Master of Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington.
